Terms of Service

1. Using the Service

Use MediaLearn responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws. Do not misuse or disrupt the service.

  • Do not attempt to breach, probe, or test the vulnerability of any system or network.
  • Do not interfere with or disrupt any user, host, or network, including by sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing.
  • Use only interfaces and instructions we provide to access the Services.
  • Comply with export and sanctions regulations that apply to your use of the Services.

We may suspend or terminate access if we detect abuse, security risk, or legal non-compliance.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

  • Keep your password confidential and use a strong, unique passphrase.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
  • You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence to create an account, or have verifiable consent from a legal guardian.

We may require identity verification for certain features and may revoke usernames that impersonate others.

3. Content

Respect intellectual property. You retain ownership of your content; we grant you a license to use course materials for personal learning.

  • You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to operate and improve the Services.
  • Do not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
  • We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Third-party materials may be subject to additional terms; you are responsible for reviewing and complying with them.

4. Payments

All fees are displayed before checkout. Taxes and refunds follow local rules where applicable.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • We may change prices with prior notice in accordance with applicable law.
  • Refunds, where offered, are processed to the original payment method.

If a payment fails, we may suspend access until the outstanding amount is resolved.

5. Limitations

The service is provided “as is” to the maximum extent allowed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

  • To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, and non-infringement.
  • We are not liable for lost profits, revenues, or indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Services shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the disclaimers or limitations above; these may not apply to you.

6. Changes

We may update these terms and will post the effective date when changes occur.

  • Material changes will be announced via the Services or by email where required.
  • Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
